The very soil that Samuel tended in 1883 now flourishes as Aylesbury Estate, a testament to the enduring legacy of the Gibbs family. Today, the reins are held by fifth-generation custodian Ryan Gibbs, alongside his wife Narelle and their children, ensuring that the spirit of Aylesbury continues to thrive and evolve for generations to come.

Aylesbury Estate: A Legacy of Heritage and Innovation
The Aylesbury Estate story is steeped in history, echoing the ancestral roots of the Gibbs family. Named after the town of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, England, it traces its origins to James Dagley Gibbs who journeyed from Aylesbury to Western Australia in 1844.
James’ son, Samuel, emerged as a pioneer in the Ferguson Valley, nestled within what we now know as the Geographe wine region. For five successive generations, this land has been a testament to hard work and continuity, evolving from citrus and stone-fruit orchards to potato fields, dairy farms, and presently, a haven for beef and wine grapes.
